Personality: Often described as “Insane,” albeit, she isn’t. Sun is perfectly right in the brain area.
Careful, quick-thinking, and can be surprisingly
strong. Refer to: History. Doesn’t trust easily.

History: Sun was born in the wild, raised by a small herd, which was ruled harshly by the Lead stallion, Dedecus. The Lead stallion was also her father, and her mother was murdered soon after Sun was born. This was probably because her mother took pity on the Herd, and did not listen to most of what Dedecus said. Sun was abused after her Mother's death, and she is constantly haunted by his voice in her ears, "You're worthless, a worthless, filthy, disgustingly frail child. You shouldn't have been born."
Sun soon escaped with her older sister, Pandora, but they got seperated. Living on her own, Sun was bombarded by the harshness of the surrounding world, as if her Father was not enough to dwell on. She was attacked by animals, and lone, cruel beasts that called themselves Horses.

When Sun grew to be fully adult, she was betrayed, back stabbed, and emotionally tortured. Friends left her, and the one she loved died, killing themselves. This made her colder, and harder, and it took much longer for anyone who wished to become a friend of her to gain her complete trust.
Sun was, at one time during her adult hood, mentally unstable. From the loss of the ones she cared for most, she went a little off the deep end. It wasn't that this lasted long, but during that time, Sun killed. Murdered, generally made herself disliked. Ruthless killer? You betcha.

Sun did soon come to her senses, and is guilt plaqued by what she did. Traces of her older self remain today, and blood stains her history. She doesn't like to talk about it, so don't be surprised if you wandered up and asked, and the Mare changes the subject immediately.
However, she did meet a few, very good friends. Ghost, the mother of Maple, was one of them. She knew Ghost for a long, long time, and knows and can relate to the hardships her friend had to go in and out of. Sun swore if anything happened to Ghost, she would take care of Ghost's daughter, and she intends to keep that promise to her grave.
