Stella had drifted off by herself, away from the strange Innokenti and her babbling father. It was strange, she pondered, how the big tough Thunder could break down so easily. Oh well. I guess even the strongest have weak spots. The small mare skittered along a ridge, taking joy in the- albeit small -risks she was taking. Wonder if I could vault that gap that was back there, Constellarus thought. In an entirely reckless decision, she turned around and pounded for it. The foolish horse neared closer to the crack in the mountain, where a dark abyss lay. She rounded and corner and galloped harder and faster. But just as she prepared to leap, a familiar stallion bounded in the way.
"Stellaerk!? What the heck are you doing?!" Stella shrieked. The two collided, legs a jumbled mess. Moving slowly and daintily she picked herself up off the ground, checking for injuries.

Stellaerk stood, embarrassed not saying a word. "Dude, I'm not going to bite you," Stella muttered. She remembered how the last few times they'd met, she had yelled at the trakehner. Oh no. He probably thinks I hate him. Constellarus withheld a roll of her eyes and spoke, "Listen, I'm not that mad at you. I'm sorry for being so.. I don't know." She knew she was being a brat, an attention-seeker. She was just too stubborn to admit it. "But I'd like to hang out more. Thunder was being kind of cold yesterday or whenever that was so um. Yeah. If you want to go grazing later together, let me know." Stella shifted awkwardly, keeping her gaze to the ground.

He held his body firm against the ground as Stella ran into him. "What the hell are you doing Stella?" he said to her, once she had told him that she wasn't mad. "Are you crazy? You could have killed yourself!" He let out a sigh as he regained himself. "And yes, I would really like that." he whispered. He walked forward, pushing Stella away from the crumbly edge. He began to walk away from Stella, but looked back. "You coming" he called out to her. They wandered to a nice grazing patch somewhere in the middle of the territory.

"Is here good?" he asked Stella, already indulging in the juicy grass. He looked up at her, grass poking out of his mouth, making him look stupid. He gave her a smile, struggling to keep the grass in his mouth. He chuckled and the grass fell from his mouth, but he turned away from Stella as it happened, not to make her disgusted because of his bad manners. "Sorry bout that." he said, turning back with an idiotic grin glued to his face. "The grass is just so damn yummy"

Her nose twitched distastefully. Why was it so awkward to be with Stellaerk? The mare just felt.. embarrassed. The dopey way his food messily covered his mouth made Constellarus glance around, hoping nobody had seen. If Innokenti was watching, she surely would have died in humiliation. Constellarus caught herself wishing she was with the purple haired stallion instead; at least he wouldn't do stupid things. In a bad attempt to make conversation, she spoke up. "Uh, so how have you been..? It was cool how you moved those stars a few nights ago. I liked it." Stella mustered a weak smile. "Um, anyway, this has been fun but I.. think I'll, ah, go." The horse's voice wavered.

Tension hung thick in the air. It was like being in a too-small of a bubble. In the outside world, the wind whistled through the mountains, bringing warnings of winter. Over on the edge of the valley, a small herd had congregated. A pang of sadness stung through Stella. She missed Adelina, as well as Maple, her first friend in Myst. She made a mental note to see if they were around sometime.

He could tell by the look on Stella's face, that she was not impressed with him eating his food the way that he did. He felt ashamed of himself. He locked his eyes on Stella. "I am so sorry about that." he said, his voice small and weak. He kicked the dirt around. Why must it always be so hard for him to make friends? Why must he always be so direct? Why was he such a awkward person to be around? He shifted his weight and looked at Stella once more. "I have been alright, kinda lonely though. Oh and I'm glad that you lik.... oh, okay then." he said is response to her question, only to be cut off. She was leaving already. He lowered his head slowly, looking at the ground.

"I know you hate me Stella. You can't stand to be around me for more that 2 minutes. I understand though. I am a disgrace and I'm just so gross. It's fine, you can leave, I wont bother you anymore. I'll just let you get a move on with your life. Because you have a life, unlike me. Loner for life." he muttered. He turned his body away from Stella and went and slumped down next to a small boulder. "It was nice talking to you, Stella." he said, his silver eyes becoming sad and the glisten fade. You don't deserve her anyway, she is too good for you, just let her go. She doesn't like you, get a hold of yourself you stupid idiot.
