PostSubject: Dead and Gone... Not quite.    Mon 4 Feb 2013 - 21:32

You bitches thought I was gone once Ezazel 'killed' me right? Yeah, that was a few months ago. Nope, I'm obviously alive and well, I just dont let anyone know. I'll shut up now and let y'all observe my life in this hell known as Myst... (That was kinda like a pre-lude type thing, so don't get confused xD)

Seeker was walking through the powdery snow, his breath clearly visible in the crisp winter air. He hated winter. Always had, always will. He trudged further, till he got to a small river. He uses his hoof and breaks the ice, then lowers his head and drinks.

Toki jumped as she heard a crack, it sounded like ice, but she was still paranoid.
While jumping, her back leg hit a branch and she fell onto the ground and rolled down a rocky hill, she splashed into icy cold water.
She looked up and saw a horse right above, she screeched and flipped around in the icy patch of water like a fish. Seeing as how this wasn't getting her anywhere, she stopped and looked at the horse. She had not seen this horse before.
"Great...just my luck. of course I would be the one to trip over a tree and fall down a hill into ice cold water..." she mumbled, and then looked back up at the horse sheeplishly.
"I am so sorry" she spat the words out quickly, got up and stepped aside.
"I'm Toki, and clearly not one for first impressions..." she groaned, her neck ached, and her legs were all cut from the jagged rocks.
"You are?" she asked the horse.

Seeker jerks his head up, stepping back and looking at this... Toki it was, with a raised eyebrow. "See-Name's aren't important. You can call me whatever you want." He whinnies, getting a good look at her. He noticed the blood trickling down her legs, then digs in the snow, finding a healing herb common to Myst. "Wrap this around your cuts." He says through teeth clenched around the herb.

Toki tilted her head, no name? And then she saw him give her something to heal her cuts.
"Thank you" she smiled, and took the herbs, layed on the snow, and rested for a little.
"So, no name...what would you like me to call you?" she asked him sweetly.
Its SO amazing to finally be around another horse. so so so amazing. I haven't seen anyone in forever it seems.

Seeker slowly lowered himself onto the snow-covered ground. He thought. "I suppose you could call me Legend." He says, watching her use the herbs. He shakes the show off his head.

"legend huh? Alright then" Toki smiled.
"Do you know if any other horses live her?" she asked, her eyes widened. Toki wanted to be part of a herd again, like she used to. but another part of her preferred to stay alone in the shadows.

Seeker froze slightly. He didn't want the others that lived in this area to know he was alive, but this mare seemed like she was in desperate need of a herd. "Yeah, a few do. But they are off trying to create an army against the lydes right now. They are all scattered." He whinnies.

"Lydes?" Toki asked.
"what are those, and why do they need an army..." she Started to panic, but then realized she had to let the other horse reply to her before she went insane.
"sorry.." she said, "I've had bad experiences with monsters in the past.. Take my sister Layka for an example"

"Raptors/horses. Huge, fanged beasts that lurk here and kill horses for food. They are more raptor than horse though, lately. The leaders Ezazel, Mirage, Makivis, and Desperado. They're going around trying to find anyone who's willing to fight against them in what they think to be a Lyde rebellion." Seeker spoke gently.

Layka... The name rang a bell. "I think I've met Layka." he says. "A long time ago, when I was new here."

"ohh. that sounds a tad creepy.." Toki looked around, paranoid now that those 'Lydes were everywhere.
"and Layka, she's not the nicest.. at all" Toki looked down at the water.
"care to show me around?" she smiled
